I'm currently in Les Deux Alpes and its 6 euros (ie. pounds) a beer and lunch for around 10 euros. Dinner will set you back a bit more but house red is around 12 euros and pretty good. The standard though is on a different planet to Bulgaria and we do have 200kms of pistes plus masses of off piste - with 30 cms of powder on them this morning. Happy days.

We were in 2 Alps over New Year and found that,with an exchange rate of £1 = 1 euro, prices were pretty extortionate. A jug of beer (2 pints) was 10 euros in Smokey Joe's.
We had lunch at the bottom of the mountain one day and paid 23 euros for 2 bowls of soup and a small plate of (cold) oven chips. The skiing was completely awesome though.

so stay in the villages, Stoikite which is at the bottom of the new 6 man lift has 2 bars that sell bee for 1.5lev and 2 lev - happy days!!!

The hotel belona in chepelare is about 1.5 lev a beer too!!

i was in pamps in december and there is a bar in the shopping Mall, it was 1.20 a beer

Well my local just charged me £2.80 for a pint of london pride... The cheek of it. I am never going back! Might move to Vietnam

Well it was 5 lv a beer last week and it should be 1.99lv in bars, AND that's according to the the brewery that brew the stuff. Ummm now tell me they're not taking the rise? Even with the poor £ that works out a quid a beer so why are they charging £2.50 ??? By the way i don't want to sit in a shopping Mall on a night out!
