Looks like Pamporovo are taking the Mickey! 5lv for a local beer (500ml) and more for imports, my mate paid 11lv for a short and mixer YES 11lv! and they wanted to keep the change! Slope prices are now in resort. Hotle Pamporovo was charging 5lv for a small bottle of Kamenitza. and Fools were paying it. Well they do say a fool and his money are soon parted!

everywhere we went it was 5lev for beer,4lev for a coke and ...wait for it......hot choc on slopes 6 lev, which my son insisted. cheapest place we found was forest nook, large beer and glass of red wine 6levs, but the food inedible

We went to France New Year and prices were the same, not looking so cheap anymore

Go to italy, Sauze d'oulx was amazingly cheap last week to eat drink and be merry on slopes and in town.

What you#ve go to remember is that a lot of places were charging this last year, granted some were charging 3 lev. Last year we got 3 lev to the pound, so a 4 or 5 lev pint would then have been £1.40 or £1.70 ish, which aint too bad. Now with just 2 lev to pound it's more like £2 or £2.50 a pint.

No all the main bars charge 5lv I paid 20lv for 2 beers one Coke and a milk shake at the White Heart. Rip-off The prices will kill the place i for one will not be back. Looking else where for next year.

You have to take into consideration the poor pound and the economic landscape as Stevie d says it's a bigger picture than just saying 'I'm not coming back' all around Europe this is happening this year and until recovery is on the horizon nothing will change. Blame the US banks not Bansko.

Try other countries, we were really surprised how cheap Italy was despite 1 euro = 1 pound sterling. Only the lift pass and private lessons were more expensive than Bansko, everything else food drink wise was better value and better quality, saying that I will return to Bansko and it's not for cheap prices.
