found nice family run hotel just outside borovets but from snow reports this has the shortest season.Not a lot of point going on ski holiday with no snow !!!.booked flights 31-7 april.

Skied Bansko in mid-April this year. If the weather is sunny (whihc it was), you need to get up early and ski in the morning as the top layer starts to melt by early afternoon and this affects your speed (slows you down). To get more speed ski in the shadows of the treeline Smile

Have to agree with these 2 Very Happy You will have a much better chance of skiing in Bansko at this time of year.

thank everyone for info .But perhaps the speed issue would be to my advantage this will be my first time and slow suits me fine but my husband and elder son have been before and they will want to be able to move!!!!!

well ive bottled it.cancelled originall flights and now booked feb 10th.
