Hi - we are coming out on new years day and staying at Snezhanka so I am going to ensure we have good snow! Not really clued up on activites for teenagers as we have 3 under 10's but there's ice skating, 10 pin bowling, snow tubing, Skidooing to name but a few. Then there's my favourites - eating and drinking!
Get signed up in a ski school and you'll all have a blast!
Take flip flops if you want to use the pool area as they won't let you in with bare feet, and the hotel charges £8 for them in the shop, never been at New Year but will be returning for second time in February, you made a good choice as ski bus picks up right outside snezhanka door, and food is not too bad for Bulgaria
We stopped in the Snezhanka last new year! wish i was going this year!
really enjoyed it, food was goood (English faves!) & rooms are lovley! really clean.
I'm 18 and my bro's 15, In the hotel theres an internet place where we often visited (few lev for an hour or so!) and a games room - snooker/pool.
Then depending if you want them to wander,we went out and about to the ice rink, bowling and often went to the perlik hotel as there was a bar that had entertainment.
The New Year ...

The New Year dinner at the hotel though was traditional though so be prepared (me and the bro we're expecting a crimbo dinner!) and we went with our Dad to "The White Hart" for new years even (Run by Cystal/Thomsons) Was a really good night!
Hope that helped! They won't be bored , always something to do (If they have the energy after a long day on the slopes! you'd be suprised how much it takes out of you!
As well as the main restaurant in Snezhanka (which does great breakfasts by the way) there is a traditional Mehana restaurant downstairs, by the entrance to the pool. We had a couple of fantastic meals in there - they spoke good english and the live entertainment was great too.
Also good was the resturant in the Mourgavets for live entertainment - along with the 'walking on hot coals' and stuff like that.
We\'re off on the 20th dec for xmas week, 12 of us mixed ages, 1st experience, need to know about dress code, don\'t want to look like plonkers in best bib n braces on xmas day!!! Thanks for the tip about the flip flops, is there much snow on the ground around the hotel or is it higher up on the slopes? How far away are the slopes from the hotel, and did any of you have enormous feet, size 14 and if so was it easy to get ski\'s?? Do we need snow boots as teenager\'s aren\'t avin it!!!
We are on Orevetz on the 20th Dec whihc is accross the road from Snezhanka were we stayed last year. Dress code is very relaxed but I will dress up on christmas day - why not its christmas after all!!! We loved the Snezhanka, rooms were good, staff very friendly and the food was really nice - different to english food but well prepared and plentiful. We are praying for snow but even if there isnt any I'd say snow boots or good walking boots are a must. My boy was a bit weary about his ski ...

My boy was a bit weary about his ski wear but once we got there he was quite happy as everyone is in it! Must say though to my dissmay he wore his ski pants quite low, fashion overcame warmth in his view!!!
You'll love Pamps - its great for first timers and as long as the snow appears it'll be a great experience for you all.
Not sure about the size 14 boots but i'm sure someone on this forum will help!!!
