re: rila hotel

It was fine when we were there last year. Best to get for meals early. "Mummy liked the cocktails", says 9 yr old over my shoulder.

Warm, comfortable room, made up daily.

re: rila hotel

hi im alicia
i have been to the rila 1s last year and going back there on the 22nd of jan
the hotel rooms are nice and the swimming is ok i would say the bad thing about the hotel is the food it isnt that great at all but there are loads of nice resturants around the slopes that are also very cheap
the hotel is good because the slopes are right out side the hotel
have a good holiday
when are you going?

re: rila hotel

I just got back today !!

Rila was great, clean and tidy, good location and anyone who say's the food is crap is talking rubbish, we ate in every night having expected to eat out every night because of what people were saying , they did do a few choice things like sprouts in mayo on the salad bar but anyone could manage to leave the resturant full up !!

Enjoy Razz

Hi Emz,

Just got back early hours of this morning. Rila the place to be in Borov as it is in the heart of the resort. You can ski to the front door, what more do you need??? Oh and also not far to stumble back to after a nite on the town!!! Only negative thing is that there is a lot of ice outside the Rila- take some good walking boots.

Rila has great facilities, recommend the sunna and steam room at the end of the day to ease your aching body, a bargin at 6 levs (just over £2). Rooms ...

Rila has great facilities, recommend the sunna and steam room at the end of the day to ease your aching body, a bargin at 6 levs (just over £2). Rooms clean and tidy and also very warm...just what you need after a hard day out skiing up them cold mountains.

Although it does depend on what tour operator you have booked with to which resturant you eat in. I booked with Inghams, so therefore we got to eat in the big resturant at the front overlooking the slopes, great view and great choice of food. Waiters dont talk much but seem friendly and always smiling. However some people I met had booked with First choice and had to eat in the smaller resturant at the back of the hotel, therefore no good view and they often complained about no where to sit.

Don't worry you'll have a great time
