re: samokov

There were 5 in our group, and not one of us had ever skied. I was the only failure, I only went for the apres ski really, I am a complete coward. The others did brilliantly and even had a Snowboard taster lesson and loved that too. You will be skiing by the end of the week, the others assure me it's a real adrenalin rush, they can't wait to go back, or try the dry slopes here.

re: samokov

re: samokov

beers good and very cheap, bout 1 lev, only tried the red wine that was ok, if eating out avoid the happy duck, had the worst meal, had good reports about The Blue. Titanic does a mean chicken burger. Buzz Bar lively, most places shut about 4am. Try chips and cheese. Pizza good in Pizza Napolea and at Ice Angels. Food is really good at hotel tho.

re: samokov

Anyone give us any information about the ski jump facilities at Samokov town? I fancy learning from scratch. Is this a reality?

re: samokov

Ok. Well they ranged from 21-47, the 47s myself and my husband, if he can do it so can you. He was a wizz at snowboarding. 3 people in our group were in their 30s. The youngsters obviously were brilliant. I was so unfit, I was exhaysted before I started, but I found plenty to do, mostly eating and drinking.
