There is a site called quidco where you can earn cash back by registering then linking to merchants through the site. At the moment Balken are offering 3% on holidays booked which isnt a lot but better in your pocket. Also can book airport parking, travel insurance and get cash back. Loads of other things as well worth having a look.
I must have missed something with Balkan. I usually go with Inghams, and a quick check now at Iglika going on 30th Jan half board is £290 with Inghams but £356 with Balkan. Is there some way of getting this price down. I know a lot of people book with Balkan buy why and how do you get the low prices? H x

I bet they will raise the price "final arrangements" when the registrations become bookings!!
We've booked with balkan again and did it via quidco. We also claimed our 5% for travelling last year therefore have saved quite a bit. Staying hotel Pirin, HB, flights transfers, carriage of boots and skis, ski hire for 1 (2 of us have our own) lift passes and seats together on the plane £410 each, 3 travelling.
We decided against paying £14 each for in flight food. It isn't spectacular and we think we'll survive without it!
Roll on Jan 17th for another great week in Bansko

I've gone with Inghams 4 times now (just booked with them for 2010 ), and with Balkan once. Found Inghams cheaper every time just didn't have a single room in March when I went with Balkan. They have never yet changed the price between booking online and travelling for me, but I heard plenty of horror stories with Balkan when I travelled with them in March ( changing airports etc). That said, they got to me Boro whereas Inghams did not. Just got a week Jan 9th 2010 for £431 pp all in ( ...

That said, they got to me Boro whereas Inghams did not. Just got a week Jan 9th 2010 for £431 pp all in ( Hotel Bor - fab food - 15 min walk to lifts) . This is more or less the same price I was paying four years ago! My only observation would be the instructor I had at the Samokov school (Balkan) was far superior to the ones I have had at Borosport (Inghams) - but this may just be luck of the draw!
Shop around and happy hunting.
