There's not much for the non-skier. A couple of iffy nightclubs that can be fun and of course, a bunch of brothels Very Happy

They include brothels Very Happy as nightclubs - there are two non brothel Sad nightclubs I think. A few bars. Plenty of restaurants. A few shops, but mostly selling knock off ski gear. Its a tiny village (with a billion apartment blocks)

Not quite true, there is a shopping shopping, but not to the standard of rest of europe. If you are staying at the strazhite hotel you are about 10 mins walk away from the centre, you walk down past the Lion british pub, nice cheap meals, and head off down the hill you wil pas plenty of local mehana's and little shops seling everything from rip off designer hand bags, good copies so my wife tells me, sport shops, dvds you name it its there. There are a few corner shop type places good value ...

There are a few corner shop type places good value if you want some fresh fruit, local drinks, bread, local meats, local fags, and cheaper chocolate than you can buy anywhere else in bansko, also very important as my daughter often reminds me.
You will eventualy come across memorial square and a massive church nice if you like that sort of thing, some fantastic insights to local history of architecture aroround the square, anyway keep going down through the town past the church and after about another 500 mtrs you will come across the shops, these are what the locals use and buy all of thier normal goods, don't think you will buy much but you could spend the afternoon poking about have a nice cake and hot chocolate with brandy. and watch the world go by. You do pass a playboy palace quite close to the lion pub nether felt the urge to find out if it is a brothel perhaps Mat and Col have?
I can recomend the Suana and massage in the Strazhite feels great after a hard day at the office, this is our 5 return visit to bansko which must say something about the place.
