re: similar position

The "main" road alongside the majority of bars etc was VERY icy when I was there last week, but saying that people were falling in trainers, shoes, boots, ski boots even!. The locals were starting to remove the ice (dont know what its like now?), but my kids had their boots on for a little more grip (still fell!), if your not sozzled you should be of though!

re: similar position

Thanks for the info, some of the family wants boots others wants trainers,i will keep it at that.I know this sounds daft but we are new to this game as well.Would it be best to wear the ski coats rather than packing the ski coats to save on weight in the cases ? and any other useful tips would be helpful.

Personally i pack all the ski gear seperatley and wear a warm coat to travel in, but plenty of people wear their ski jackets to travel in. I have a rather expensive jacket and use it for skiing only, that way it will last!
take something to eat & drink on the coach transfer in case your delayed, crisps pop and sweets should do!
My kids took their gameboys and played them on the coach transfer, made it a lot easier!
Oh I bought some lager at the airport in uk duty free for the coach ...

Oh I bought some lager at the airport in uk duty free for the coach transfer cos we were arriving late at night, managed to make plenty of friends in the seats around me on route thanks to that!
Enjoy
