sitting in Samokov bar

well at last im hers sitting in Saanokov bar, with a beer 
or 2 .hubby and daughter on the slopes god knows where, im looking out of the window at everybody skiing, the weather is no too good at the moment, but have spoken to barman he says loads tomorrow. im a bit dissapointed that the Hungry Horse is no longer here but im sure we will find somewhere just as good, the roads are just one big slush and its tharing quite bad. fingers crossed for some snow as its getting quite ...

How come you aren't skiing??
Mt hubbie and son are in Boro at the moment, is that where the Samokov bar is?? They are stopping at the Rila Hotel. Son boarding Hubbie skiing - their 1st time.
Me and my younger son ( are home alone. Peace perfect Peace. No extra washing, cleaning cooking - heaven.
Hope they are not disappointed as there seems not to be much snow. I suppose they have an advantage being 1st timers, as they have nothing to compare it to. Some of the guys ...

thanks pete and karen yes i am enjoying myself , but i dont ski lol , yes i have tried lots of times , but its not foe me although i dont mind coming here and watching the world go by, weather is not 2 good at the moment ,, ok see ya laterre: sitting in Samokov bar
Hi ElaineI havnt skied beofre, due to go next year. The only thing that worries me are the lifts. They terrify me.
Maybe Ill go ice skating instead!!

If you like ice skating then you'll love skiing - much easier - well in my opinionDisappointed to hear the news of the Hungry Horse the kids loved it in there. Never mind, an excuse to look around and find somewhere else - I think it was their first year last year - shame it didn't work out.
You've obviously taken your lap top and a good book with you - enjoy a crepe for me in the Samakov Bar

Hi Elaine,We are staying at the Samokov next week(24th), never been skiing before! May be siiting in the bar myself, thats if I can still walk that far after trying to ski!!!
I was planning to bring my walking boots, but am wondering if I may be better with wellington boots if there is a lot of "slush"?
Are there kettles in the hotel rooms?
Is soap provided?

Hi DarrenWe went last year to the Samokov and there were no kettles in the rooms and when we asked the staff they didn't even know what a kettle was! so this year we are taking our own.
