re: ski carriage help

depends on weight not a hundred per cent sure but I think its 15kg although it could be 20 extra in your ski carriage cost.

re: ski carriage help

May depend on who you're flying with, the carrier we used to fly with never charged us for ski carriage, but we're flying with someone else tomorrow and they've charged quite a lot.
If you're taking boots as well then they'll probably charge you two lots of carriage cause it'll be obvious that you're carrying two lots, if not then they may not know and only charge you for one....

re: ski carriage help

We booked with Inghams and went to boro in Feb.We had paid £15 fo carraige of skis but at last minute my hubby bought blades so we took a double bag with both sets of skis and jackets and salopettes etc and didn't get charged any extra!! Having said that going in Feb again and have paid for the carraige of 2 sets of skis at £30.

re: ski carriage help

We had 4snowboards in one bag. They don't weigh them they just tag em and you put them in a seperate section to go onboard.
This year taking and paying for 2 and filling with other gear.
Hurray 4 board/ski carriage

re: ski carriage help

as above..there is no weight limit for ski carrriage, im sure there is but ive never had any problems over the years..ive got a massive board bag and fill it with everything..boots, boards, skis, helmets, toiletries, kids...and just pay the £15

re: ski carriage help

pack your boots in your case, stuff them full of socks, pants etc. wrap your skis with your salopettes it gives them a bit of extra protection.

re: ski carriage help

thanks for all the advice. do you have to wait long at other end to collect ski's? i.e. once you've got your cases is it another long wait? Confused
