Hi, what are the snow/ski conditions in Bulgaria (Bansko, Pamporovo, Borovets) at the moment ? When will the resorts / lift be open ?Thanks

No snow at the moment but keep an eye on the webcamhttp://www.pamporovo-bg.com/
It wont be long now and temperatures are due to drop in the coming days.

Season starts 11/Dec although they were planning to opern the slopes 1/Dec (weather permitting) - not a great deal of snow just yet.....

Well today even the bloody wind is warm. Temps were meant to be dropping from 20th Nov but was around 20degrees in town yesterday. Come on God please give us some early snow! We gonna be working all winter again! We only want a little time to have fun!!!!
And see whats going on up the mountain.
Bansko said they wanted to open 1st Dec but doesnt look like thats gonna happen. Their official opening is the 11th Dec.

On http://www.j2ski.com/snow_forecast/Bulgaria/Borovets_snow_report.html, it says that Borovets had 30cm of snow (high and low) on 26th November 2010, is that true? The webcams suggest not!

The J2.ski snow forecast is notoriously unreliable. Presumably just trying to sell their ski holidays?re: ski conditions in Bulgaria at the moment
Going out on 13 th for a few days, think there's any chance of skiing by then????
