re: ski or snowboard??

If you want to give boarders a laugh then go skiing, 'cause when a skier stacks - poles, skis and skier go in all different directions..... it's hilarious! Very Happy

re: ski or snowboard??

It amazes me that this sort of conversation goes on every year without fail...

Get a life and get out skiing / boarding

Nothing else really matters....

re: ski or snowboard??

i tried skiing on dry slope and was hopeless, couldnt get more than 30 yards without doing the splits or crossing the skis - gave up in despair after an hour. went boarding and was going down a reasonable slope within a few hours - i still fell off hundreds of times in that first day but found it so much easier than skiing - maybe having a skateboard as a kid helped - and going on one one of those snowboard machines in the local amusement arcade may have helped too ! lol !

re: ski or snowboard??

I've tried both and prefer boarding but it is a personal choice. One tip though if you are going to board invest in some impact shorts - about £50 but worth every penny. Limits the bruising and stops your ass from getting wet when sat in the snow! Cool
