can anybody let me know where I can buy a ski package for Borovets 12th Feb 2005 without buying through the tour company I booked with - Nielson they are charging an arm and a leg.

re: ski packages

i think there was a post here recently (last day or two) where somebody booked a pass with a local ski school when he got to boro. came to something like the £110 for gear, tuition and a week's ski pass.

maybe do a search for some of those words? i'm sure you'll find it

re: ski packages

I'm sure you will find it cheaper to pre book through tour operator. Prices in Borovets are about twice the price unless you are a fluent Bulgarian speaker & can buy a local pass!!

re: ski packages

For complete ski package we have been quoted £170.00 per person.

re: ski packages

I recommend using Balkan Holidays... call them and get a quote.
It's costing me £98....That includes: Board/bindings/boots hire, 6 Day lift pass & 2hours lessons over 3 mornings.

If you go through your tour operator just tell them the quote and they should, as mine did, wave the commission on top Very Happy

We got a great deal then! £101 for lift pass, boots/ski's/poles and ski school for 6 days/4 hours a day!
Booked Inghams thru Lunn Poly (now Thomson) If ya need to price match!

re: ski packages

Try Albena Ski School.
We used them last year and they were very good. If you contact them before travel then you are deemed to be pre booking. Also you are going half term week and you want to make sure he can help you as it is the busiest week in resort.

Speak to Val on: 00359 4877 6277 Mobile number and remember there is a 2 hour time difference. He speaks good English - speak slowly as there is a slight delay.

Hope this helps he is usually very helpful
