Well the best and the cheapest??? Surely a contradiction in terms??!!!

Plenty of hire shops on the main road to the gondola I suggest you have a look around and see what you think.
Lift prices are not out yet. If you are diying you will have to buy from the gondola. If you are on a package buy from them.

re: ski pass bansko

buy from your tour operator prior to your holiday or you will be for an expensive suprise/shock if you deside to buy/hire the gear and lift pass locally.
as for the cheapest, well here is an idea:
the cheapest is- go behind an UK ski shop after a busy weekend, collect the rubbish boards leftovers and beyond repair too take them to BG and have a try.
cheap does not equals best.
it is the rule Wink

There is a lot of hire available, expect to pay in the region of 15lv a day for a beginner set-up, negotiate with the shop if looking for instruction, can usually get the package cheaper...

Mikey, how do you know these things ???? back of a shop ???? i do worry for you sometimes Razz Razz Razz Wink Agree with tour operator option though...

I think the best place to rent is Bansko sports, they were recommended by quite a few people on here last year and they are amongst the cheapest with professional staff and good equipment.
