re: ski rd in bansko

Ah Tom again,

I believe it's 14km (who's counting) and it runs from the top to the village - snow depending of course. Apparantley it's a fairly sedate way to finish your day, though the last 1km is a bit flat and may require a little push - best not be a boarder eh!! Several flat bits in Pamp too ( my one and only critisium from last year) but to be honest, will probably spend more time up on the mountain and will use this run just at the end of the day. There is always the gondela ...

Got this info from people that live in Bansko - we are renting the catered chalet they have for the week.

re: ski rd in bansko

Will try to answer both your questions... Wink

As far as I know the left side of the mountain is fairly easy going - blues, greens etc, and the right side has some seriously tough stuff - a run named after Alberto Tomba being a severe test I've been told!! (Will try it in January and let you know) Also, snow dependant of course, loads of off piste to explore. Cann't wait.

Also been told the queues are pretty minimal most of the time (except half term I guess) so no problems.

All ...

All will depend on how experienced you are I think - when are you going?
