Been 3 times to borovets with inghams. The ski instruction is done by the local company Borosport, and is excellent. The instructors can help you with anything you might need, and are a fantastic source of good advice. If you are complete beginners, you might find yourselves being held back slightly by somebody who doesn't grasp it as quickly as you. On the other hand it might be you. If either of these situations arise, speak to the instructor, they will sort it. They are very dedicated people. If you have had good service, give them a good tip, they rely on it as part of their wages. We usualy tip £10 for each person.

The Inghams kindergarten is excellent!!

The children can be dropped off before your lesson at anytime after 9.00 and picked up by 4.30pm. In that time they have a whale of a time!!

In the morning all the children are encouraged to ski. None are made to do anything they don't want to. They are out for about 2 hours and return to the Ela for lunch. Lunch was basic as far as I could understand from my 2 but with no complaints.

In the afternoon all the children who want to, go back out to ski. Some afternoons they sledge or bumboard. Some of the younger children choose to stay in the hotel. In between skiing they can colour, play games, watch videos. It was great seeing them on the slopes with their faces painted!!

The kindergarten used the Albena Ski School and had the same 2/3 instuctors all week who to be honest deserved a medal!! They got the kids kitted out, carried their skis and taught them to snowplough better than me! They also made a video of all the fun the kids were having during the week. Don't forget to tip them in the same way as you would your own instructor - they deserve every lev!

The Inghams nannies our children loved, they were great fun too.

Hope this information helps. By the way we used the kindergarten in 2003 when ours were 7 and 5. Last year they both skied in ski school with me having had a great experience the year before.

Normally what happens is, you get fitted on the first day (usually Sunday), go out and ski, then return them to the ski depot when you're finished. You then put on your own boots, and enjoy the apres ski. The following morning, take the ticket they give you, and reclaim the skis they have fitted you for. One word of caution, if you do the night skiing (after 5pm, tickets were 15 lev if I remember correctly), make sure the ski cave will still be open when you get back, or you're not too far from your hotel to walk back with the boots on carrying your skis. We stayed late one night, and they were shut, it wasn't a problem for us though, we were in the Iglika, which is only 200 yards away.
