re: ski wear

If you have a Decathlon Sport near you - easy to search for on t'internet - go there. We got their own make gear last year for our first ski hol and it was fine. One thing I wouldn't get tho was their gloves - I did a lot of falling over and by the end of the day my hands were cold and wet! Everything else is great tho and really reasonable prices.

i have learnt to snowboard at milton keynes, and doing my first ever holiday in Pamps in Jan. I have bought the clothes, boots and gloves.
Do I need ski goggles and helmet?

re: ski wear

goggles are a good idea, sunglasses are usually enough but only goggles are any use if it is actually snowing on the runs....

Helmet?, yes - boarders tend to take more falls and seem to be magentically attracted to crash into each other as well :-)

re: ski wear

i have been looking at the yellow lense goggles. I have yellow lenses for sunglasses in low light when playing golf or mountain biking. Is yellow lense a good option or will it be too bright reflecting off the snow?

I reckon i will use one of the helmets out there. I am not lugging one of those there and back.

I cant wait. I have only ever done "sun" holidays before. This will be a new experience.
