I have bought all my gear in Bulgaria ,
bought a Spider suit for 200 euro ,same suit at home 700 euro ,if its a fake its a good one .If you are arriving in the afternoon you should have enough time to get gear before sking the next day.haggle and walk out of the shop a few times and they will reduce price.
WBD re Rob's posting regarding goggles & you mentioned sun glasses, now if I am not mistaken he has stated he has learnt to board, now it might be down with the skiers to were sunnies, but really, us boys who ride the boards goggles is the only way forward... If you want to save some cash, pop to snow shack on your 1st day, they will get you decent goggles for a good price. Got me Smith's from those guys, 2 years on, still very very good... Or any of the local shops in the resort,, haggle, ...

try skiwear4less on ebay. tk-max have some rubbish this year unless they've had new stock from last week. some good dare2be jackets and trousers at reasonable prices.
I'd heard that Spyder (and Killy?) manufacture gear in Bulgaria and that that's why it is often available at a decent price there.
*shrug* Don't know for sure - its just what someone told me.
