What ever you do dont but cheap ski jackets/pants from TK Maxx. They arent snow/water/wind anything proof!! So spend the extra few quid and get something decent..

Tk maxx is fine...you just need to buy named brands...got some excellent gloves and mitts at a third of RRP..and Quicksilver pants and jacket

Biff I take it you have experiance of this? I ask because my girlfriends parents have just brought her some stuff from tk max but dont know what it is like yet as we have not seen it! Bit worried now

Hi everyone

I bought a Trespass ski jacket from TK Maxx. I was red and cream but after washing as per instructions it is now red and pink

I'm going to take it back and the weekend and see if they will change it.

I have just bought some trespass ones from tk max, they look pretty good.
Even if they aint any good, they were only £13.
I also bought a quicksilver jacket from there 3 years ago, and that has done me a good turn!!

It really depends which brand to buy. A Trespass jacket bought in TKMaxx should be identical to one bought at an undiscounted store. If you read the washing instructions, most ski wear is washed at 30 degrees, if you go above this colours can run and the material distort.

I've bought Dare2Be stuff at TK Maxx and it's stood the test this week - no problems at all.

Me and my girlfriend have bought Dare2Be attire. I got mine from the Castleford store of Ski 4 Less... my girlfriend from the Regatta store in Freeport Castleford feels good quality and of course Dare2Be is Regatta so the design, textile and technical details are very high

I would recommend Dare2Be

Hi Daniel

We have all been happy with our buys from TKMAX, I would say though that if you are boarding pants with braces seem to keep your back dry It's a case of trial and error. The clothing is very reasonable in Pamps so perhaps you could buy some bits there.
