To hire is not much different from buying these days and also you can barter with the shop owners in borovets to lower the prices!!!!!!!!!!

Can I buy snowboard boots in Borovets if need be, I have heard horror stories regarding boot hire but live in Guernsey so not a great choice here.

Yeah Jeremy, lots of stores so shop around or speak to your instructor and am sure he will have a friend or cousin working in a store and they will do a good price!!!!!!!!!

Thanks, unfortunately I have run out of time, have to leave home on Wednesday at 6 to get to Gatwick in order to get easy jet flight to Sofia first thing Thursday morning. I'll take a look in Boro but given this is my first time boarding maybe better see if I like it first

Yeah try it first for sure, i did a week the first time i went but knew straight away that i liked it so i invested in my own equipment!!!!!!!

Jeremy, if you're buying, buy wise and buy once. I went through 2 pairs of boots because I didn't try them properly or get them fitted properly before buying. 3rd time I went for function over feature and got it right.

Some people get lucky on ebay or buying blind, but more often than none it just ends up with pain or hassle.
