re: snow blades

Hi Leofrumtown

We bought some in before we went to Pamps for Xmasfrom skiwear4less in tamwrth ( they do mail order as well ) nothing fancy only £99. with the new bindings. didnt like the binding at first but after a few days they were great. I was forever crossing the tips on my ski's & falling over but i never fell over once with the blades & they were great for turning & carving.

re: snow blades

I've used blades for years and thought about fitting release bindings but a ski mechanic told me not to drill any more holes in the body of the blade as it would substantially weaken the structure - not sure I'd want be coming down a ski run to find the only thing under me was a binding!

I honestly wouldn't take the gamble of drilling more holes - speak to a ski shop who do repairs etc and take their advice - think twice about getting the "black + Decker" out!
