snow conditions now

Hi all, Just want to let you all know about montain conditions, i know we are all scared that the white stuff wont arrive for our holidays, i worked in the Alps for 10 years and it was very rare to have enough snow to ski on at Christmas until the very last minute. Hi all, Just want to let you all know about montain conditions, i know we are all scared that the white stuff wont arrive for our holidays, i worked in the Alps for 10 years and it was very rare to have enough snow to ski on at Christmas until the very last minute. A good storm can drop over a metre of snow overnight and leave enough snow for weeks and weeks, we have all the talk about global warming but in all my years overseas i only experienced a really bad December in one of them and that was 18 years ago so we have to ask is it Global Warming or just a freak incident, in France they have been panicking but snow has started to fall so my advice to you all is "Don't Worry be Happy" it Will snow and don't believe any of the Bulgarian Forecast's i first came to this site 2 years ago and that was the advise that PP gave to everyone, and lets face it, at least we are looking forward to a holiday that i am sure most Bulgarians could only dream about, enough said, enjoy and have a great season

Hi
Whistler Blackcomb near Vancouver Canada www.whistlerblackcomb.com has 2 meters of snow and over 30 lifts operating for over 2 weeks now, check the web site, lived there for 20 years but know lost in Ukraine and crying that I am on dry ground and not on my VOLKL's flying down the slopes. Such is life.
