HI Nige we are stayin at the Yanakiev on the 20th Feb for a week, don't know if you have stayed there before? We haven't so I'll be putting an entry on Trip Advisor as there are currently two on there and one of them is in Belgian language.Cheers

No,I have Never been, but i cant wait! snow or no snow, i will have a mountain on the doorstep! (a wife and daughter who cant ski but will love walking if there is no snow .)(they are having lessons at Torquay Ski!)( Devon uk) im assured there are mountainbikes available for hire(BY INGHAMS) and plenty of hiking and fresh air, just thinking about it makes me high as a kite! and - (cough), no, i dont do what ever you are potentially thinking!

I'm in Bromsgrove UK, end of the M42 where it meets the M5.
I went to Borovets about 8 years back with my wife and 3 kids. No doubt that skiing is the best family holiday you can have.
We never went back to Bulgaria but have skied every year since except last year due to ill health.
i.e. we haven't skied for 2 years now but are going again in February half term.
We have great memories of Borovets. At the time my kids were 4, 8 and 10 and we had our own instructor, Maria from ...

I got my research/info on snow history from igluski,
Hopefully you will extract the neccesary info you require,i think it is perfect info and free, yes FREE!!!!! its amazing that some sites want you to prescribe for that info? wont mention any!
PS... glad to see you back onthis site after your retirement? or were you persuaded to leave?
