Do NOT hire your skii\'s before you go as part of a package. We did and was given abslutely crap ski\'s. My wife front binding came of as she was skiing from the upper sloop, corroded!!! Also no edges. Joke, thire ski\'s have done ten seasons in the alps then shipped to Borovets. My ski hire, using their ski hire and ski school for the kids,,, avoid!! Indeed the package was with Inghams staying in the Rila hotel.

Summary avoid at all costs pay that little bit extra and ski in a quality resort, somewhere else.

The people never or at least rarely smile and bark at you. In terms of customer service the locals wouldn\'t know what that was if they fell over it!!! AVOID.
I am sure some people have had a good skiing holiday here but the above is just my personal experience.

If it is not possible to ski or go elsewhere we will arrange a "green" programme with walking, cycling. However, I can only think of two
Occasions in the last 10 years - both in Bulgaria when it's been necessary to do that.

We suggest you take out the piste closure cover at £8 per person.
