I got back from boro on the 9th, don't know if there's been any significant fall since then but the blue and green runs accessed from the rila chair lifts were largely packed ice by the end of the week. Can't speak too for much of the red and black stuff as I'm fairly new to the sport. At the end of the day though there's def going to be good snow at the top of the gondola for a long time yet so enjoy!
Boro boy, there is enough snow there to ski till at least mid april,so please guys chill out, even if it gets warm it will take weeks to melt the snow at the top of the mountain...
Don't forget there is over 8 feet of packed snow up there..
it snowed nearly all day yesterday, its going to get a bit warmer in the resort but will still be below zero up top, and to my mind that doesnt mean its going to melt!!
Next Monday down in the resort on a weather forecast I saw they said the max temperature could be plus 10 degrees celcius and that can't be good news can it?
One warm day like that could melt or the snow there.
I know it will still be good up top but all those runs and gondola will get mega busy then.
I don't know why its so freezing one week and like summer the next its a stich up!!!
