snow in scotland

the slopes at cairngorms are now open for the season,and there is snow on the runs.good for me as i live there but its hard to believe all these europe resorts cant get enough snow to ski in december and somewhere with a poor record like scoland is open 16 dec.
figgers crossed for snow for all you guys going out early.
you can always come up here instead

yes... a very low % of people come back not wanting to ever do it again, I know no one yet myself who did not love it... and loved Bulgaria

Too right Gill - we're 'wrong' side of fifty (but still twenty somethings at heart) - learnt to ski last year and going again this season. wish we'd have done it years ago!

I'm going to Cairngorm on Monday, weather permitting, hopefully the wind stays down as that's what will close the lifts.

last year we took a 60 year old for the first time, and guess what she is coming back with me in March this year.... we took a friends child who is 11 she did not get on with ski school so we got her a few private lessons she is now coming back at New Year with us... I did not get on with ski school (I was just rubbish) took a few private lessons and never looked back....

so for the delay just been out to cut the breaks on the wifes car, because if its that adictive im going to need the money before the spring
