snow in wales

hi there me worring bout snow in bansko 6th march it1s hammering down here in wales at the moment hav 2 get the bumboards out get up on the mountain karen

where about are you.......karen ? it has forcast 10 to 15cm for us in gwynedd...........and maybe more all week. hope we get some more snow in borovits soon and ii can get to the airport on saturday......:-)

Nothing in this part of Gwynedd, plenty of snow on the mountains though. Hope it stays up there!

hi live in risca rite on the top bout 8 miles out side of newport been 2 boro the pastt 2 yrs undecided 4 a while where 2 go

managed to get a few rides up the Brecon last fri (18th), had to hunt around for a half decent slope but was good fun, except the walking up part!

Jazzy, have you walked up Pen-y-fan? it's a hike but if snow is good a fantastic ride back.

hi niki, tried just after Christmas but wasn't too good that time. is it the walk where u go over a bridge at the start? usually come up from cardiff and not sure of the area to be honest, usually find a good farmers field!

Yeah, coming from Cardiff on A470 park on the right after the reservoirs where it says toilets before the actual Story Arms layby/outward bound center, you walk up the main track well signed to Pen-y-fan, over the bridge on the little river. Or drive on another couple of hundred meters and go over the other side of the road at the Story Arms layby, a couple of good runs above where all the kids do sledging. thanks 4 the comments back appreciate them very much.... had to wait for some decent snow falls again and wel take a trip down their n go down a few runs......... looking forward to some decent skiing in bulgaria week after next ..... hopefully be a good laugh... so anyone out their at the same time might bump into each other................
