hey everyone...im looking at getting a new board and am of to exscape soon to do some testing.
Have got a few boards in mind but am looking for some feed back if anyone has tried them out before or has heard anything about them other than whats in the magazines. the choices are -
I have a fleetwood ride. I quite enjoy it. I have quite big feet also (don't get too excited ladies)! But it is a perfect board for all round the mountain. The only thing with the wider boards is flex to me. Fleetwood is perfect for carving, can do tricks and stuff as well, but flex is an issue, and i think it is on all wider boards. But yeah, the fleetwood is a good looking board, good on the slope and pretty easy on the wallet!!!
Cheers sean...One small problem is the board size as according to the experts i should ride between a 154 - 156 and the ride i think starts at 158.
I have been riding a 155 mostley
That was my first choice as well.boo!
hi kamka pete.
be careful if you are bringing a new board out with you, my son is working out in courchevel 1850 this season he took a new board with him but due to lack of snow he has picked up an old board to save damaging his new one.
Yeah i know what they saw about the board, but a lot of it is on weight, like that link i sent through! Go to the store and see what they say, best idea. It will always be hard to find a wide short board!!
So i rekon if you are over 59kg which i would imagine you to be, you should be fairly ok! But i am not an expert, like i said, ask the guys in store. I have found the guys in the TSA (in London Covent Garden) to be very professional and not just try to sell you the most expensive board ...

I tried to buy an expensive one for my girlfriend and they talked me into pretty much the cheapest board!!
