sofia map

Hi,

Does anyone have a spare Sofia pocket street map they do not need anymore please? Or are they easy to pick up in Sofia, i have never noticed any tourist info offices anywhere in the capital.

re: sofia map

They are there mate, or try a supermarket (Aldi, Kaufland etc) that sell maps, just look for Sofia... or even easier, download one from the interweb...

Cheers Steve,

I have seen a couple of downloads on the net, but it's easier to unfold a pocket map like the ones you get in London. I will look at Aldi or Kaufland. Any idea where the tourist office is? I will be parking around the A. Nevsky cathedral.

re: sofia map

Hi ya

Do you need one on arrival or are you going to Sofia during your trip? If during your trip, we have some here and can pass them over?

Also, I got your email, I will mail you today with the number for Old House... BB won't be open. We will be up there working most of the time, but message me in case we're not around and we can arrange to meet up....

You can get a free center map from airport-the new one term 2. Catch bus 82 or 282 which goes every 10-15 mins and it is 1lev (purchase one from the dri er) as opposed to miminum 10lv with taxi which will save you only10- 15 min on a journey.go to any HAPPY restaurants and at the door you have a weekly current pocket size magazine Sofia-WEEK or something of this sort name which is always with 2 page map of the center.
Alexander Nevski is 5 min walk from both last and one before last ...

Remember where the bus stops and from the same place you can catch it on the way to airport-inless you end up in a hurry and then just get a taxi for a tenner.
