Unfortunately, they will deem the resort to be open even if there's only one run available - think there's been some previous posts on a similar topic, maybe talking about claiming for piste closure on insurance, but all boils down to the same thing.

It's not exactly a kings ransom for a lift pass in Pamporovo and how are they to know what the snow conditions will be like on your arrival. Confused

If the runs are restricted then the chances are you will be using the lifts even more frequently!

You're right PP, it's not a ransom but it's still 286 lev which is roughly 140 quid. Then skis on top of that. Maybe that's my fault for not going with a tour company.

PP I admire you glass half full attitude to life!

Personally I would have thought that if the runs are restricted, the queues for the lifts wwould be twice as long and you'll use the lifts half as much!!

As for what you are charged for this partial service, I agree you, its just one of those things. C'est la vie!!

Then again in a couple of seasons you won't have to wait long at the lifts cause there won't be anyone there.

re: soo are you telling me they expect full money

if a £140 is not a lot of money to pp maybe he can give you the money stevie. 140 is a lot of money for less than half of the runs being open

re: soo are you telling me they expect full money

If you have paid £140 for a lift pass in Pamporovo then somebody is pulling a fast one on you. It's £67 with Balkan.
