re: spending money

Its comments like the above that put off new posters. I am going for 11 days self catering and will not take anywhere near that amount.

Nicky take a chill pill and gentle remove your head from yer hole !

Take a look down the board. Loads of how much do i need threads. If they are too lazy to take a look, then they should get a gentle "how much ! "shock.

Its not as if the thread wasnt going to be added to by the politically correct anally retentive crowd was it ? Very Happy

re: spending money

I'm going to Borovets for Christmas week half board with my husband and daughter and will only be taking around £300.

I self catered in France last Feb and only spent around £200 and that included food!

re: spending money

To advise on spending money is very difficult as we all spend differently. If you are half board as you say then snacks during the day are really all you need food wise. I presume that it's 2 adults (you didn't say) plus 3 kids so budget for approx. £40 per day for food. Not sure if you are drinkers, but an average of £30 per day should see you through comfortably. Add say, £20 per day for nic nacs and you are up to £90 per day. X that by 7 = £630.
So, if you take £800 then I'm sure you ...

Sarah i would suggest around £400-500 would be more than adequate. you will probably come home with change.

re: spending money

Donkey, how can you imagine 2 adults and 3 kids to stay for a week at half board for £500 ? This is less than £80 per day, so they should stay starving. This is a ski resort, it's not a cheap place and these days it's really pricey ...
Sarah, you should prepare at least £1000. It was much different 10 years ago, but these days the prices are up.
