hiya going to borvets samokov 6 march, can anyone tell me wether the snowboardgear is step in or strap, is the gear any good, cheers, aqnyone else going 6 march 12.30 manchester,

you want to now if to use step-in or strap.
if you plan to go again get your own gear.you find in bulgaria its not brill stuff.
buy some good boots. thats important.ther is loads to choose from

the boots in bulgaria are not the best.you might find all your sizes are gone.
you can buy them there or in england.over there will be slightly cheeper but i recomend ...

My kids went last week and the gear they hired was only strap. This was half term week, so the place was packed. But they seem to run short of all rental equipment at busy periods, so I recommend that you get in quickly to get access to the best stuff.re: step in or strap
hi mark thanks for the reply, but no i wanted to know if they supply stepin or strap in at the hotel, im takin my own board n boots also my son takin his he will be doing both, but we meetin a family of friends over there and the dad wants to try boardin so will get the hire gear aswell if you get my drift,who will you be with how many are ya and are you up for a few swallies.cheers noodles

I have to disagree with you Mark. The equiptment on sale in Bulgaria is as good as you will get anywhere in the UK and at a fraction of the price. Burton, Nidecker, Ride, and Salomon are all widely available.Step-ins and straps.Pamporovo Pete

hi mate there are 4 of us going 2couples possible 5.the girls are trying skiing this year. im a boarder. just come back from merible in france,will see you there then mate......

Can't say for Boro as I have not been there this year Glyn, but most of the hire gear in Pamps has been re-newed for the 2004 season.If you are considering buying you can expect to pay at least 40% less than in the UK. If you intend being a regular at this sport I strongly recommend you buy your own gear as bad gear can really ruin your holiday. Plus within 3 -4 years the amount you will save from not hiring will pay for your gear.
