re: supermarkets

Hi Mr Potter. We use Sainsburys and also Lidl. Lidl sell mostly German brands but cheaper than Sainsburys and very good quality. We don't have a large enough Tescos, Asda too far away. Waitrose more expensive. Don't have a Safeway.

Best Wishes

re: supermarkets

Rods of Knightsbridge although the Arab on the checkout is very slow and seems somewhat uninterested. The loyalty scheme needs improving too.

know it well but still prefer larger supermarkets - Mr G Potter - your list is something I would agree with too.

Mr P

There aren't any Safeways anymore they are now called Morrisons so a bit out of touch there!!

We like Tesco's because we can save the clubcard vouchers and then we spend them on days out to places like The Chessington World of Adventures, Thorpe Park or Alton Towers.

Also it is the only supermarket we have in sunny Bicester so we don't really have any choice.

Misty likes their cat biscuits. Have you tried them for Captain Spongy?

Hi Mr. G. Potter,

here in Belgium I use:
1. Carrefour (old name GB = Grand Bazar)
2. Delhaise
3. Aldi

Also the Lidl is very popular here but it's like shopping in a different country; you see so many different nationalities there...

Greetings,
Tanjette Cool

re: supermarkets

I love going shopping in Tesco because I can walk there. It's very nice there and they have lots of lovely food to eat.

It's much more expensive than Lidl though and we have a Lidl where I live, but it's not as close as Tesco. With Tesco, I can be at the checkout at 7.55pm and walk home and be sat in front of the television for The Bill at 8pm

Hello Mr Potter

We like Morrisons, especially now they have taken over Safeway and so we have them down South as well. They have lots of Special Offers and Morrisons frut and veg is much nicer than Tesco's and Asda Fresh Food is just minging. But Tesco Extra at Cambereley is amazing.

Waitrose is nicest tho, especially if you like cooking cos they sell all sorts of ingredients that you can't get anywhere else.
