Won't effect the beginners at all. And yes chalin valog is a positive i suppose. My girlfriend's an intermediate beginner though so makes meeting up a bit of a pain.

Damo, you know you can get off the gondola half way stop, your girlfriend can take the chair lift down to ski the bottom blue part of Chalin Valog whilst you ski/board the top black run Question

She's having lessons for the first three days. I'm a glass is half full kinda guy but tomba was shut last year when i was there. Chalin valog's a great area and steeper than tomba but the steep bits shorter. Tomba's more of a test for me as i'm a 20 a day smoker!!

im not sure about that damo, i think chalin valog is steeper longer than Tomba ?

It strikes me that a lot of intermediate people both skiers and boarders seem to be able to throw themselves down the Tomba, but you have to be in control to get down Chalin Valog, mistakes there are painful Sad

Yes the steep bit of chalin valog is more difficult.
