Hotel Pamps is about 10 mins walk from the centre which doesn't seem a lot but can be a drag when you've been on your feet all day and all you want to do is stagger between watering holes. Most people we spoke to when we were there hung around the hotel ( quite boring after a night or 2) Taxis can be a rip off - we were a bit drunk 1 night so not thinking too straight and got charged 15 lev to go from Analogue back to the hotel- less than a mile!
The dining room is an absolute farce, makes you depressed coz you cant relax as dozens of people are waiting to jump in your place and because it's such a walk to get to the centre you feel a bit trapped into eating there.
We didn't find anyone who would go back there as most other hotels in Pamps are better. We had plenty of moans (which I won't go into as they've already been written about loads!) and I would say avoid if possible - you will have a had a lucky escape!
