Roads, more like donkey tracks at times. Oh yes the whole town is one big building site, do not take standard shoes, complete lack of pavements and potholes big enough to swallow you up.
should only take 3 / 3.5hrs it all depends on the snow fall and which way the coach has to go. Also there are no toilets on these so a couple of stops in garages as well.
i wouldnt say the whole place is a building site, there is a lot of builging going on but to never bothered us in anyway. there is a lack of pavements but that has nothing to do with the building, I always take walking boots with me as it is hard to see the paths ect when it snows no matter where you are. the town centre is not a building site and seems quiet old style but again paths arnt great. have a good time
Actually the road is really good most of the way - it is international road to Greece.Travelling with my 10 yr old daughter, I was expecting it to be a horrendous jounery but was fine - comfy coach, played a DVD on the way there and back which passed the time.Stops are fine not too long but enough to stretch legs ,get supplies, etc.
