Thanks loads for your responses, I have heard mixed views about Ulen though went out there in 2007 and had a great experience with them.
Ive looked into a few and have chosen to stay with method and have 2 hours a day private lessons at a discounted price of about £150, this is for 5 days and compared to other places ive been this is a bargain. Im still looking to put my 12 year old into group lessons and still not sure which one to use but maybe pirin 2000 (please let me know ...

Frostbite ill be heading home when you are on your way out so unfortunately I cant give you a rundown on whats good and whats not but can compare notes when you get back. Have a great trip.
Method is so your best bet , personally they do have the best instructors in Bansko ... and can work on what you want not what the group may need , have fun
2 of us had an advanced lesson with Nick from Ulen last year and it was well worth the money The 2 hours was hard work but he corrected loads of faults.
I had group lessons with ulen in 2007 though had to wait a couple of days for this as they just didnt initially cater for a more advanced skier but once we were rolling I had a great time and met some great people. I would have gone back with Ulen but was informed that they only cater for the package traveller and as im doing my holiday indepedently I couldnt use them, I have heard differently since and still may use them for teaching my 12 year old who is coming with us for the first time.
bansko ski mania are good, half the price of Ulen, we had private lessons for my daughter and she came on really well, Ulen do have big classes and if you cant keep up I have known them to tell people to get private lessons!!!
Hi Sam, I have been quoted 295lev for 6 days lessons with 4 hours tuition a day, I seem to think this is quite a lot. Do you know if this is correct or am I being taken for being a tourist and do you think it would be cheaper if I book when I get out there.
As much as i don't wish to promote ulen their ski school isn't bad at all. My brother, sister, her boyfriend and a few of my friends have used them over the last few years and didn't have any problems.
Hi Niki, You are right its not a lot of money and probably getting carried away with the money saving thing though not tight I promise, just dont like to get ripped off. Im sure ill go with ski mania as have heard great things and obviously worry about leaving my 12 year old.
And Damo as I said I had a great time and with Ulen and would not talk them down at all though there do seem to be a lot that are not of the same opinion.
Thanks guys and gals for your help and will let you all ...
