Can I refer to FV original posting - Fv asked whether or not Pearl Property to which Amanda works and is associated if they could contribute. If you look at their website, I would have thought this was a justifed question due to the nature of there work. I contribute to orphanges as well, my place of work also supports me on this with a lot of financial backing!! I therefore feel this was a fare question. I am sure FV is aware as to what Amanda and her family have given to the orphange and this was never put into question in his post.

Bibblybobs - I hope you have read FV reply post to you and realise now that Amanda is NOT the only one who does good work, I think what he is trying to say is that he prefers to stay quiet.

FV - I think you should stay as after all, all you have done is voiced your honest opinion!
Amanda - I would have thought now after reading about the good work FV does himself also, to comment by stating "I bid you almost a fond farewell," is not exactly charitable. After all is he also trying what you are trying to achieve - to help these needy children, and he has been doing so for a hell of a long time - 10 years to be precise!

this is for all the sceptics out there:

For the past 18 years i have given a large proportion of my life to institutes in Romania and Bulgaria to the To the detriment of my own family. During this time I have adopted children and nohave 15 children.

17 years I never asked for any help or funding from others, I have personally financed everything I have done. I am not a wealthy woman and live a modest life style.

Little over a year ago I was left with no choice but to ask for help from others, the reason being I simply could not afford the luxury of purchasing a heating system costing ?30,000. I did look at re-mortgaging my family home, however I was unsure I could afford the monthly re payments along with the support I give already, not only to this institute but to many other causes. Therefore I was left with no choice but to raise awareness. I this is a decision I will never regret.

We already sponsor parents that were going to give up their babies for adoption due to not being able to afford to keep their own babies, this support is continuous until the children reach the age of leaving education.

I can’t save all Bulgaria’s children; I just do what is financially possible. I will continue to raise awareness by what ever means are available to me. If by raising awareness it comes across as promoting myself, I can only apologies, this was never my intention. This is the only way I know how to help raise the much needed funds, if you can be constructive in giving me advice or financial assistance it will be well received.

I am thrilled with all the help and assistance that has been given. But I can’t sit back and see the basic human rights of these children going un noticed and I will not see these children freeze or starve. If I have to shout for help from a roof top to get the funding needed I will, what ever it takes, I am here for the long haul, and I am not alone, we are a big team on this forum willing to do what it takes.

It is sad to think we have enemies but believe me over the last few weeks we have had to take a lot of critisicm and accusations (mostly from another forum that amanda, Andie and I started on some time ago). We were also accused of being A--e lickers because we came to the defence of Amanda. If we didnt SHOUT then we would not be heard and would not be getting the help from you all. It is not up to us to ask "why has so and so not contributed" and believe me there are a couple of people I would like to ask this but it is none of my business. People will give what they want and what they want. I just cannot understand why people have to always add a sour note, especially to this forum when most of us are pulling together.
