Hi all in Pamps at mo... Prespa hotel internet Cafe.

I'm not pleased to learn that there is no snow due this week as the runs are worse today than yesterday...

Beginners are skiing (like me) at the base of the resort in ski school 2 but i'm a fast learner and am outgrowing the nursery slope fast... It is good fun but i am going to be disappointed due to the fact that we went on the chair lifts today to have a good look around and this is what we found:

Loads of snow hiding amongst the trees with no way to get it to the slopes
The big green run from the top is ice to the mid station and from there lots of mud... i mean really squelchy mud!
Rocks showing through everywhere including the nursery slopes

Sorry to disappoint anyone but thats how it is... like i say, i have learned lots and fast from my instructor (as the tuition here is TOP notch) but there is no snow forecast all week which means the runs are only going to get worse... very disappointing... nevertheless i am still enjoying myself and will continue to do so for all the skiing is limited.

Hi Helen... it's cold but sunny... so warm too if you catch my drift... bring the sun lotion, very easy to burn but you cool down really quickly with no coat... approx 6-10 degrees depending on time of day... our instructor said it had been 12 recently too so not good!

Zod: People were skiing the gfreen run but from the top to the mid station it is mostly ice with patchy snow and mud... better from mid but when there was mud THERE WAS MUD ie take off your skis and walk that bit! Also icy patches.

Damn kids on bumboards using the slpes making them extra slippy and icy too though!! lol
