hi alisonYour visa electron can be used to get money out of most of the macines in the resort and some shops are now geared up for taking cards at the tills too so you will be OK. Best place for cash machine is Orlovetz hotel foyer.

Yes it is Alison,a short taxi ride...I stayed in the evridika 3 yrs ago,nice hotel really enjoyed...

By the way cash points in BG are unreliable so i would take cash with me,new notes,and change them in the hotel..Tiger

can go straight to the main street diredtly from ski slopes to get money and then short taxi ride back to the evridicaStayed there 2 years ago it was fine, we arrived after a heavy snow fall and did the last 500m in mini buses because the coach couldnt get there!

Not sure what some are talking about!!! i have been to BG 8 times in the last two years and every cash machine i have been to has been working!!if you have a nationwide debit card you also get the best exchange rate possible!! i never take any cash apart from some for the journey/airport.

Well Phil call me unlucky but the first time i went to Pamps the cash machine was out of order for 4 of the 6 days i was there.
Then last yr in Boro my mate had his card cloned from a cash point,something i am told is rife in Bulgaria..
Those are the 2 experiance i have had with cash points in BG...
My advice is not to relie on them due to the experiances that i and friends have had...
If you look back through old threads on this site!!! you will see that i'm not the only one ...
