ole gunnar solesjar is apparantely good enough to turn pro and when he retires and goes back home to norway he is going to take it up more.

Can't believe that Charlie - a friends son is on Southamptons books and he is banned from skiing by the club. Can't believe Sir Alex would allow a playeer to ski, and certainly not to that degree.

no i said when he retires he is thinking about making a career out of skiing as apparently is amazing.

But how can he be amazing at skiing if he is banned from skiing by his club.

He was probably worth about 10 million 5 years ago, and no club would allow a player worth that to risk injuries skiing.

Perhaps he skied as a youngster before turning pro?
its an obvious No No as as Pro (for obvious reasons), but once retired can do it for recreation.
Remember when David Beckham and his Posh wife, sloped off to Courcheval a couple of year ago after the Rebecca Loos scandal, Beckham never skied, it was allways the wife and the kids on the snow. (Sounds hen pecked to me like!)
She probably just did it cos its posh in Courcheval, probably cant do a blue run yet!

i believe he used to be a graet skier but had to give it up and when he finishes football he is gonna start again and hopefully make a carer out of it
