I like the Perelik Tavern, good authentic food, cheap last year and about 4 levs a pint. However someone on here did have a bad experience there which turned a bit nasty - but for me was great.

I thought the new large restaurant to the right White Heart (if your looking towards the door) was very poor and expensive. 25 Levs for a simple Bulgarian hot pot Confused

Sorry light is so much better than dark!
Kaminitsa and Zakorka are both great.
by the way they are now selling bottles of zakorka in morrisons so you can try it before you go.
(mod i don't work in morrisons)

Always found the White House near the hotel Pamporovo to be superb but not the cheapest. The BBq in the Murgavets is also very good and used to be reasonable.

Ruddles or London Pride are my favourites. No accounting for taste, eh? Good job we don't all like the same thing.

But I'll always try the local stuff.
