where to get best rate for pound

Should I change to levs here or wait to get to borovets ??

We always recommend that you take about £50 worth of Levs with you to get you started then seek out the best rates in resort.

just got back from Borovets,went to the local bank and changed £20 notes in good condition had a rate of 2.32 levs,very easy

Definatly change £20 notes out there, little bank opposite Bobbys bar, don't forget to take your passport in with you.

Nationwide charges 2% plus a pound for each withdrawal. thats £3 every £100 which is 7lev which equals 2 large beers lost to the bank. so if you don't mind buying beers for the bank use the cash machines, Nationwide that is i don't know about the others, but there all blood suckers.
