whereabouts is?

Can anybody tell me where abouts the hotel Iglika is in Borovets, on one map it is shown as being behind the rila away from the slopes and another has it positioned in front of the shopping lanes. All the brochures describe it differently.

re: whereabouts is?

It's behind the Rila hotel. And i'd say that you will be overlooking a construction site this coming season.

re: whereabouts is?

Stayed in the iglika 3 times now and you can see the very left hand slope at the side of the rial from the bar, its close to the slopes and out of the major hotels ive stayed in there the food wasnt bad. Nice friendly bar though luke and daniel will keep your glasses full.
Good choice of hotel.

re: whereabouts is?

Hi, we are booked in to the Iglika 7th March 09, we always stay in the rila, but the Iglika worked out much cheaper this year. As long as it warm, clean and friendly, thats all I want, we are on the slopes all day then go for a lemonade or 2 and into bed.

re: whereabouts is?

Hi Dar, we've booked for the 7th Feb, have also stayed at the Rila and Samokov, no kids this year so able to look at the quieter cheaper options, looks great. we'll try not to drink all the lemonade!! Got a great deal with Inghams.

re: whereabouts is?

Hi, it is right behind the Rila, an ideal location as it is quieter here and just as close to the slopes, have stayed 5 times here, tried Flora last year and now booked to go back to Iglika this year, food has always been good, not 5 star but always plenty of choice and warm/hot. Staff friendly and the superior rooms are worth the upgrade, All apart from 1 year had to leave the door open at night as it was so warm. Also was one of the cheaper bars in the resort.

re: whereabouts is?

The only thing to really moan about the iklika is noise, it seems to have thin doors and echoing corridors.
If you a light sleeper ear plugs are not a bad idea if you are on ground or first floor.
I normally drink myself to sleep so its not a problem.
Have fun maybe see you there.
