Got my wife booked into ski school she will be in the intermediates class the problem is she may not be up to that standard yet.She can links turns and snowplough and also sort or parallel turn but i`m not sure if this is the right class for her? If i put her into beginners she will be wasting her time for the 1st couple of days because she can do the basics already or should i just put her back into beginners classes?
Don't worry. The instructors will assess her on the day and put her into an appropriate group, it is also possible to change groups if that becomes necessary.
I'm going on the 23rd Feb. You?
She will be assessed before joining the class, simply a case of skiing down a gentle slope. Sounds like an intermediate by how you describe, basically even if she is put in a beginners class she can be put up a group if the instructor is impressed with her progress, the reverse is also true
No problem. Been going since 2002 so know the drill pretty much. Just booked up to go out to Boro on 23rd Feb so looking forward to it. I agree the first time down the hill is the worst and did exactly what Dave did on year 2.
Rila too. 6 of us varying ages and abilities. 2 skiers (1 beginner), 3 boarders (the young 'uns) and the other half along for the quiet time. Unfortunately she has a damaged knee due to tripping over something in one of our well known High St stores. Keep in touch might see you there!
