Well if they were real boarders like myself im not sure what they are doing on the slop.Boarding is for off piste so we can get out the way of the stuck up skiers.
Come on boarders leave the pistes to the un-brave, boarding is meant to be the adrenalin

Hit the nail on the head there Adam, boarders think they are cooler because they want to stay sat on the slopes "being seen" with those stupid jester hats. I've noticed that half of them can't even board and think that its just looks so cool to walk around with a snowboard.(and silly hat)

Yeah there ex skiers trying to be cool i think tony, except they havent got the bottle to go dodging rocks and trees.Have to admit though some of the sking stunts and off piste that is happening these days looks amazingly more technical then the boarding, respect to them some amazing tricks.

But you do have a point with ppl that sit in the middle of the pistes,but its not only boarders i have seen many ski schools with their students spread right across the piste,this is not good practise for obvious reasons,and the looks you get when you go past them when they snake across,i mean what do they expect are you ment to stay behind them at all times!!!
I can ski and board but i choose the board,not to look cool ...

But you do have a point with ppl that sit in the middle of the pistes,but its not only boarders i have seen many ski schools with their students spread right across the piste,this is not good practise for obvious reasons,and the looks you get when you go past them when they snake across,i mean what do they expect are you ment to stay behind them at all times!!!

I'm 41 and also not a spotty yoof. I mainly just stick to black runs, there's no sissy skiers snaking across or fools sat in the snow. Blacks and off piste are what boards were made for. The 16km sarenne black at alpe d'heux is very quiet and quite a challenge, no students on there at all or fools trying to look cool. At 3300m you don't sit around unless you want frost bite on your butt, having half your butt removed due to frost bite ain't pretty. Had to laugh at Bartezki's you tube clip ...
