In my opinion, Bulgaria is still the best value option. We are stuck with school holidays because of my job - and nowhere else can touch it for Feb half term prices. This isn't just getting there and accommodation - check out the prices for equipment hire and tuition elsewhere.
We've booked France for New Year 2008/9 and altogether have paid twice as much as we have for PampsFeb 2009. We've also been told to expect outrageous prices on the slopes, so to consider taking packed lunches ...

Apart from 2007, when the snow was poor all over Europe, the skiing mid-Feb has been brilliant. Even last year, we managed to ski every day at the top.
... and NO I don't have any interest in property out there!
