re: wizz air

Hey Sean,
Done Wizz last year with some of the guys off this board (they were boarders, but Hey ho ! ) no probs at all -- just be careful when You book online that You take everything You want because at the airport it will cost You like 10 times more !!
Going Jan and Feb JizzAir (sorry - Wizzair ) from Luton and very happy with the service up to now....

Hope this helps..................

re: wizz air

Speaking from experience we cannot fault them, travelled with them approx 10/12 times over the past few years and never had a problem...no probs at check or any delays. Yes sometimes their flight times are a tad unsociable (these seem to be improving) and their baggage fees are creeping up...but then again aren't they all??

Booked again with them for Feb, fingers crossed we'll be happy travellers again! Very Happy

re: wizz air

no problems with them , just know they fly into Sofia terminal 1 that is the old terminal. But to be honest it is not very old and much faster than the new one.

re: wizz air

Flew with them from Bergamo - Italy. No problems - but they do charge for everything - only 10Kgs allowed in hold, have to pay even more for 15Kgs. Having made a daft mistake with a name, their costs for changes were about £35 for 2 tickets, compared to Ryan Airs £100 per leg!!

re: wizz air

As long as you stick precisely to the rules - and don't mind flying from Luton (which is actually a pleasant little place as airports go) they are fine. New planes etc. Go over size/over weight or want to change anything or actually communicate with them and you're screwed. I personally don't use them any more because they are only a little cheaper than BA and have no flexibility which I often need with work.
