re: worste conditions anyone has seen in pamps in jan
Thanks for update
Our Doncaster - Plovdiv flight has been canx, but we are going Manchester - Plovdiv on 28.2.09. If we board the plane and it diverts to Sofia we will not be happy bunnies. I specifically made sure when Doncaster was canx that the flight was landing in Plovdiv or we would have changed resorts.
Sofia/Plovdiv ok when you are on a private transfer and can stop for a meal halfway there

spoke to ins company and they need lifts not to be working or written evidence of unboardable conditions to make a claim. I'm going and lookin forward to gettin away but where would I get this written evidence? I was sooooo lookin forward to heaps of snow!

Jo, our donny flight was cancelled too, not using this route this season. our flight was diverted to burgas etc, then next day had to fly to sofia and then transfer to pamps . nightmare. apparently this is quite common

Chris
You can get your letter from Pamporovo Plc - their e-mail address is [email protected] - The ski school should be able to obtain the letter for you as it needs the signature of L Sankiiski, the manager of the ski school on it.
It needs to confirm the percentage of the ski runs that are open (my insurance will pay up if 80% or more is closed) and the dates that these conditions applied. I have my letter and am completing my claim form this week.

Who thinks this is it for Pamps then? Is it a sign of things to come, year on year very little snow up until the point that the resort stops operating as a ski resort? Or, is it just a really unlucky 2 or 3 years??
